Roger has a degree in Landscape Architecture from Manchester University and went on to complete a Masters' degree in Environmental Rehabilitation in Wales. He has always had a keen interest in environmental matters and is passionate about native Irish woodlands. He founded Love Woodland in 2022, with a view to encouraging the restoration of native woodlands, firstly in his own local area of the North West.

Emma is the director of a local language school that is a founding member of Green Education Ireland and aligns its programs with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. She initially joined Love Woodland in a hands-on capacity, preparing sites and planting trees. Her role has since expanded to secretary, where she now supports the group with administrative duties to help our initiatives thrive.
